Each year in the United States, more than 250,000 people die from sudden cardiac arrest – that’s nearly 600 people a day – 25 people per hour. Realizing that more could be done to educate and train “bystanders”, the Heart2Heart program expanded its CPR/AED training program and continues to encourage the public to get more involved – from community youth to the elderly.
